Thornton, CO (January 24, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a vehicle crash involving injuries Friday afternoon on Grant St near Russell Blvd, not far from North Suburban Medical Center in Thornton.
The accident was reported around 4:45 p.m. on January 23. Engine 14 and Medic 71 were dispatched to the scene to provide emergency assistance. The location of the incident, close to a major medical facility, allowed for a rapid response.
Upon arrival, first responders evaluated at least one injured party at the scene. The extent of the injuries has not been confirmed, and officials have not released any further identifying details regarding those involved.
The roadway was partially impacted while responders worked to provide care and manage traffic. An investigation into the cause of the crash remains ongoing.
