Syracuse, NY (January 24, 2026) – A hit-and-run crash with injuries was reported on the morning of January 24 at the intersection of Salt Springs Rd and Melbourne Ave in Syracuse. Emergency crews from Engine 10 and rescue units responded to the scene after receiving reports of a two-vehicle collision in which one driver fled.
Upon arrival, responders located an 18-year-old woman who was injured in the crash and reported back pain. Paramedics provided on-site care, and while further details about the extent of her injuries have not been released, she remained at the scene and received medical attention. One of the vehicles involved had left the area prior to police arrival.
