Virginia Beach, VA (January 24, 2026) – A motor vehicle accident led to at least one person being transported for medical care following a collision near South Independence Blvd and Green Meadows Dr on January 23.
According to dispatch audio, emergency crews responded promptly after the crash was reported in the early afternoon. One female driver, who initially declined medical attention, later requested to be taken for treatment. She was reported to be conscious and breathing at the scene when first responders arrived.
The incident prompted a coordinated response from Virginia Beach EMS and police personnel, who ensured the area was safe for emergency care and traffic control. No entrapments were reported, and the second driver involved did not appear to require transportation at the time.
