Melrose, FL (January 25, 2026) – A vehicle crash resulting in injuries occurred Saturday afternoon at the intersection of CR-315 and Kirby Ln drawing emergency response to the scene.
The crash was reported just after 3:00 p.m., and responding units arrived within minutes to assess and assist those involved. Paramedics treated at least one injured person at the scene, and further medical transport was arranged for those needing additional care.
According to initial reports, the incident took place at a rural intersection in the Melrose area, where two or more vehicles may have collided under circumstances still being reviewed. The impact left the roadway partially obstructed while crews worked to aid the injured and remove the damaged vehicles.
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of the crash. It remains unclear whether speed, distraction, or failure to yield contributed to the collision.
