Unionville, NY (January 25, 2026) – A serious head-on accident left multiple people injured and at least one individual trapped inside a vehicle on Friday afternoon at the intersection of Route 284 and Route 22, prompting a major emergency response from area agencies.
Crews from Johnson Fire and Unionville Fire responded to the crash shortly before 2:45 p.m., following reports of a multi-vehicle collision with entrapment. Upon arrival, first responders encountered a heavily damaged vehicle with an occupant pinned inside. Using specialized rescue equipment, firefighters worked to extricate the individual while emergency medical services stabilized victims at the scene.
