Akron, OH (January 26, 2026) – Emergency crews responded Saturday afternoon to a traffic accident with reported injuries near the intersection of 6th Street Southwest and Kenmore Boulevard in Akron.
The incident occurred on January 24 at approximately 3:55 p.m. and involved multiple emergency response teams, including medical personnel, fire units, and towing services. Upon arrival, crews began assessing those involved and worked to secure the scene.
At least one person sustained injuries in the crash, though the extent has not yet been confirmed. Paramedics provided on-site care, and additional medical evaluation may have been conducted as needed.
Authorities temporarily restricted traffic in the area while responders worked to clear the roadway and begin an investigation into the cause of the accident. The number of vehicles involved has not been officially released.
