Salt Lake City, UT (January 26, 2026) – A vehicle collision early Sunday morning near South 4015 West in Salt Lake City left two individuals injured and prompted an emergency extrication effort by fire and rescue personnel.
The crash occurred on January 25 at approximately 4:00 a.m. First responders arrived to find one conscious female with injuries and a male victim in serious condition. Due to the severity of the crash, fire crews initiated extrication procedures to remove one or more occupants from the damaged vehicle.
EMS teams provided immediate medical treatment at the scene before transporting both individuals to a local hospital for further care. The nature of the male’s condition was described as serious, while the female remained alert during the response.
Traffic control measures were implemented in the area while emergency crews worked the scene and cleared the roadway. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by local authorities.
