Elizabeth, NJ (January 26, 2026) – A collision involving a moped and a Honda vehicle resulted in injuries at the intersection of South Broad Street and South Street on January 24. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene shortly before 3:00 p.m. following reports of a person bleeding from the face.
According to dispatch audio, the moped rider sustained visible facial injuries and required medical attention. EMS crews arrived at the location to assess and treat the injured individual. The driver of the Honda remained at the scene during the response.
Traffic in the area was temporarily affected as emergency teams worked to clear the crash site and provide care. No further injuries were reported, and authorities have not indicated whether any citations or arrests were made in connection with the incident.
