Yuma, AZ (January 26, 2026) – A motorcyclist has died following a crash with an SUV on Saturday night in Yuma, according to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office.
The collision occurred around 9:30 p.m. on January 24 near the intersection of County 14th Street and Avenue B. Authorities say a 2014 Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe was traveling northbound on Avenue B when it struck the rear of a 2014 Honda CR-V.
The impact ejected the motorcyclist onto the roadway. Both drivers were transported to a local hospital. The driver of the Honda sustained minor injuries, while the rider of the Harley-Davidson, identified as 34-year-old Abraham Corral of Yuma, was listed in critical condition and later died from his injuries.
Investigators noted that speed may have been a factor in the crash. The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate and is asking anyone with information to come forward.
