San Diego, CA (January 27, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision was reported Monday morning on eastbound Camino del Norte just east of Interstate 15 in San Diego. The crash, which occurred shortly before 9:00 a.m., resulted in at least one person sustaining minor injuries.
Engine 42 from the San Diego Fire Department arrived on scene shortly after the incident was reported and confirmed the presence of two involved vehicles. Paramedics assessed those involved and transported one individual to a nearby medical facility for further care. The injuries were considered non-life-threatening, according to early dispatch updates.
Police were also present at the scene to document the crash and manage traffic along the eastbound lanes of Camino del Norte, a busy corridor connecting communities in North San Diego. Fire units were later cleared after the area was stabilized and medical support had been initiated.
