Shreveport, LA (January 27, 2026) – A serious rollover crash on Kings Hwy early this morning left two individuals injured, including a 27-year-old woman who was found pinned beneath the vehicle. Emergency crews responded swiftly to the scene and transported both patients to a nearby hospital for treatment.
According to Medic 320, the female driver was not restrained and was likely ejected during the crash. Her left leg was pinned under the hood of the overturned vehicle. While no obvious deformities were noted, she reported severe back and leg pain. Emergency responders administered ketamine for pain management, and her vital signs were stable upon transport.
The second occupant, a 33-year-old man, was also found outside the vehicle. His right hand had been pinned under the hood, and he sustained minor pain in his left leg. He remained conscious and ambulatory at the scene.
Neither patient was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, which contributed to the severity of the injuries and ejection from the vehicle. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the rollover. Traffic near Kings Hwy was affected as crews worked to clear the scene and provide care.
We send our thoughts to the injured individuals and hope for their full and swift recovery.
