Bowling Green, KY (January 27, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a vehicle-versus-pedestrian accident on January 26 outside the Waffle House located at 1979 Mel Browning St. The incident left one person injured and prompted a response from Bowling Green Fire Department (BGFD), EMS, and Bowling Green Police Department (BGPD).
The pedestrian, who was struck by a vehicle, made their way inside the restaurant following the incident. According to responders, the individual was awake and breathing but reported not feeling well. Paramedics arrived to assess and treat the patient on site.
