Philadelphia, PA (January 28, 2026) – A 54-year-old woman sustained multiple injuries after being struck by a vehicle in an auto-pedestrian collision early on Tuesday morning. The incident occurred near Old York Rd, and the victim was transported to Einstein Medical Center for trauma care.
Two-vehicle involvement is not suspected in this case, as dispatch reports identified the incident as an auto-pedestrian crash. Medic 29 transported the woman, who was reported to have suffered multiple injuries. Though her condition was considered stable, emergency personnel noted a possible loss of consciousness during initial assessment.
Paramedics confirmed that the patient was not on blood thinners, and her vital signs remained steady during transport. The estimated time of arrival at Einstein Medical Center was approximately six minutes following the initial response.
Authorities have not released information about the driver involved or whether they remained at the scene. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
