Mead Valley, CA (January 29, 2026) – A serious two-vehicle collision early Tuesday morning in Mead Valley left one person with life-threatening injuries, according to the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.
The crash occurred just after 7:00 a.m. on January 27 at the intersection of Markham St and Harvill Ave. Authorities reported that two white vehicles were involved, with one of the vehicles striking a light pole during the impact.
Emergency crews arrived to find one occupant trapped inside the wreckage. Firefighters worked quickly to extricate the individual from the damaged vehicle. Once freed, the victim was transported by medical personnel to a local hospital with major, life-threatening injuries.
No additional injuries were reported in the incident, and the identities of the individuals involved have not yet been released. It remains unclear what caused the crash, and investigators are continuing to examine the scene to determine the sequence of events.
