Evansville, IN (January 29, 2026) – Emergency responders were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash in front of Bally’s Casino on NW Riverside Dr on January 28. The collision occurred in the northbound lanes and involved a red Buick that was reportedly traveling the wrong direction when it struck a white Dodge Ram.
One person at the scene sustained a back injury, which was later described as minor by emergency crews. Medics responded promptly to provide evaluation and care, while fire personnel assisted with securing the scene.
The incident took place near a high-traffic area adjacent to the casino entrance, briefly disrupting traffic flow. Crews worked quickly to clear the roadway and ensure there were no further hazards.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash, including how the wrong-way movement occurred. No other injuries were reported.
