Chico, CA (January 30, 2026) – A pedestrian sustained serious injuries Thursday morning after being struck by a vehicle on Nord Avenue near Stewart Avenue in Chico, according to the Chico Police Department.
The incident occurred shortly before 7:00 a.m., prompting an immediate response from officers and medical personnel. Upon arrival, emergency crews found the injured pedestrian on the westbound side of Nord Avenue and began administering aid.
The individual was transported to a nearby hospital with major injuries. Authorities have not released the identity of the victim, and their current condition remains undisclosed.
