Williams County, OH (January 31, 2026) – Two women from Indiana were seriously injured in a head-on crash that occurred in northwest Ohio on January 30. The collision took place around 6:30 p.m. along US-20 and led to a full road closure for nearly two hours as crews responded and investigated the scene.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a driver from Waterloo, IN, was traveling eastbound when her vehicle crossed over the center line and collided head-on with another vehicle driven by a woman from Angola, IN. Both vehicles sustained significant damage in the impact, and emergency responders worked quickly to assist the injured.
Medics at the scene provided care for both women, who suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Officials confirmed that both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, which likely helped reduce the severity of their injuries.
Traffic on US-20 was fully halted for an extended period as authorities cleared the scene and conducted preliminary investigations. The area was later reopened after responders completed the cleanup and vehicle removal.
