Akron, OH (January 31, 2026) – A traffic collision resulting in injuries was reported on January 30 near the intersection of Vernon Odom Boulevard and Superior Avenue in Akron. Emergency units, including Med 4 and Engine 4, were dispatched to the scene shortly after 1:20 p.m.
Upon arrival, responders assessed the situation and provided medical care to individuals hurt in the crash. While the number of people injured and the extent of their injuries have not been released, medics remained on scene to deliver necessary treatment.
The intersection was partially affected as fire and medical teams worked to assist those involved and ensure the area was safe. Vehicles were removed once responders completed their operations.
