Buffalo, NY (January 31, 2026) – Emergency crews were dispatched to a serious motor vehicle collision on January 30 near the intersection of Landon St and Waller St in Buffalo. The crash was reported around 11:31 a.m., with responders notified that a person was trapped inside one of the vehicles. Multiple fire and rescue units, including Engine 33, Ladder 4, Rescue 1, B43, and F40, were assigned to the scene.
According to dispatch, the individual trapped was actively experiencing seizures at the time responders arrived. Rescue teams worked quickly to gain access to the vehicle and begin medical intervention. The condition of the patient beyond the reported seizure activity has not yet been released.
Fire crews remained on-site to manage the scene and assist with safe extrication. The cause of the crash has not been confirmed, and officials have not released information regarding other vehicles or persons involved. An investigation is expected to follow.
