Gaithersburg, MD (January 31, 2026) – A personal injury collision was reported on January 30 along the northbound side of South Frederick Ave near St. Martin of Tours Church in Gaithersburg. The crash occurred just after 8:30 a.m. and led to a medical response from local fire and rescue units.
Ambulance 708 and Tower 708 were dispatched to the scene to assist those involved. At least one person sustained injuries, though the extent of those injuries and the number of vehicles involved have not been confirmed. Medical personnel remained on site to evaluate and care for the injured individual.
Traffic in the area experienced brief delays as crews operated in the roadway and ensured the scene was safely managed. The proximity to the church created additional caution as responders worked in a potentially high-pedestrian zone.
