St. Louis, MO (February 4, 2026) – An accident involving a passenger vehicle and a commercial truck resulted in injuries on Tuesday evening, February 3, along westbound Interstate 70 at New Florissant Rd in St. Louis. The collision was reported at approximately 7:00 p.m. and led to traffic disruptions in the area.
Authorities stated that a 2010 Toyota Corolla and a 2024 Freightliner Cascadia were both traveling westbound when the accident occurred. During the incident, the Toyota lost control, leading to an initial impact between the rear of the car and the front of the truck. Following that contact, the vehicles collided again, causing moderate damage to the Toyota and minor damage to the Freightliner. Both vehicles were later towed from the scene.
Emergency medical services and fire crews responded quickly to assist those involved. A 21-year-old female driver of the Toyota was found suffering from a variety of injuries. Paramedics provided care before transporting her to Barnes-Jewish Hospital for further evaluation and treatment. No other injuries requiring hospital transport were reported.
