San Antonio, TX (February 23, 2026) – One person was hospitalized on Sunday morning following a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle on the city’s North Side. The accident occurred in the southbound lanes of US Hwy 281 near San Pedro Ave.
Emergency units responded to the scene after receiving reports of a collision. Fire officials said a motorcyclist struck the rear of a vehicle along the highway. The rider was taken to a hospital for further treatment, though the extent of the injuries has not been disclosed.
The crash led to significant traffic disruption in the area. According to TxDOT’s traffic guide, three southbound lanes were temporarily closed while crews worked at the scene. By about 1:20 p.m., all lanes had reopened to traffic.
