Howland, OH (February 25, 2026) – A crash at the intersection of State Route 82 and Howland-Wilson Road on Tuesday morning, February 24, shortly before 8 a.m., according to early reports.
The crash involved a car and an SUV. Both vehicles showed front-end damage at the scene. Two people riding in the car were taken to a hospital with injuries.
One person in the SUV was also taken to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Traffic backed up in both directions along SR-82 as emergency units responded.
Eastbound drivers experienced delays from just past the off-ramp to Niles-Cortland Road to the Howland-Wilson Road intersection. Westbound traffic slowed from the intersection to the off-ramp from SR-11. No road closures were reported, but lane restrictions remained in place.
