Why Motorcycle Crashes Often Occur on Curves
Motorcycle crashes on curves can happen when riders approach turns at speeds that exceed safe limits. Curves require careful control, and misjudging the angle or speed can cause a rider to lose balance or leave the roadway.
Unlike cars, motorcycles rely heavily on rider input for stability. Sudden braking or improper positioning during a turn can increase the risk of losing control. Road conditions, such as loose gravel or uneven pavement, may also affect traction.
Protective gear like helmets can reduce the severity of injuries, but crashes involving ejection often lead to serious outcomes. Rider awareness and speed control are key factors in safely navigating curved roads.
