Wylie, TX (March 19, 2026) – A man was killed Wednesday morning after being struck by a pickup truck near Westgate Way and FM 544 in Wylie, Texas.
Emergency crews responded to the scene just before 11 a.m. following reports of a pedestrian-involved crash. Upon arrival, police and paramedics found the man unresponsive.
Despite life-saving efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to authorities, the driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and is cooperating fully with investigators.
Officials have not yet released the identity of the victim, and it remains unclear whether any charges will be filed as the investigation continues.
