Bryantown, MD (March 25, 2026) – Six people were injured after a crash involving a school bus on Tuesday, March 24, in Bryantown. The accident occurred at the intersection of Edelen Church Road and Edelen Drive and was initially reported as a mass casualty incident.
According to reports, the school bus was carrying about 30 children at the time of the crash. Emergency units responded to the scene and transported five children and the bus driver to UM Charles Regional Medical Center for evaluation.
The remaining students were moved to another school bus provided by the Board of Education. A medical helicopter was placed on standby but was not needed. No additional details about the severity of injuries have been released.
