Why Embankment Crashes Are Particularly Dangerous
Crashes involving embankments can lead to severe injuries due to the angle of impact, vehicle rollover, or partial crushing of the cabin. Occupants may become trapped inside, requiring extrication by emergency crews.
Investigators examine factors such as speed, road conditions, and driver impairment to understand the cause. Rapid response and safe removal of those trapped are critical for preventing further injury and providing timely medical care.
