Houston, TX (March 31, 2026) – A deadly crash involving a motorcycle and a sedan occurred Sunday night, March 30, in northwest Houston, leaving one person dead and another seriously hurt.
The accident happened around 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of Steubner Airline Drive and Lyon School Road. Emergency units arrived and found a grey Honda sedan and a motorcycle involved in a severe collision. One passenger inside the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said the motorcycle was traveling southbound on Steubner Airline Drive while the Honda, carrying three people, was heading northbound. The sedan attempted to turn onto Lyon School Road when it was struck by the motorcycle. The rider was taken to a nearby hospital in critical but stable condition.
Investigators believe the passenger seated closest to the point of impact suffered fatal injuries. Officials reported that neither speed nor alcohol is believed to have contributed to the crash, and all drivers remained at the scene.
