Risks and Safety Measures in Large Structure Fires
Fires in large structures like pole barns can spread rapidly, especially when flammable materials and propane tanks are present. Firefighters prioritize protecting nearby buildings and people while working to control the blaze.
Even minor burns or injuries can occur from heat, smoke, or contact with equipment. Quick response, use of protective gear, and coordination among multiple fire units are essential to prevent injuries and limit property damage in large-scale fires.
