What Factors Can Lead to a Truck Overturn in a Two-Vehicle Crash?
When a truck overturns during a crash, several factors may be involved. Larger vehicles have a higher center of gravity, which makes them more likely to tip during sudden movements or strong impacts. Even a moderate-speed collision can cause a truck to lose balance, especially if it is carrying weight.
Road conditions can also influence how a crash unfolds. Wet pavement, uneven surfaces, or tight curves may reduce traction and make it harder for drivers to maintain control. The angle of impact between vehicles can further affect whether one flips over.
Vehicle speed, driver reaction time, and spacing between cars all contribute to how serious a crash becomes. In some cases, a quick turn to avoid another vehicle may unintentionally increase the risk of overturning.
