Why Motorcycle Crashes at Driveways and Entrances Can Be Dangerous
Crashes involving motorcycles often happen when other vehicles enter or exit roadways. Drivers pulling out of shopping centers or side streets may not always see an approaching motorcycle in time.
Motorcycles are smaller and can be harder to spot, especially when traffic is moving quickly. A slight misjudgment in speed or distance can lead to a collision.
These types of crashes can result in serious injuries due to the limited protection motorcycles provide. Staying alert and double-checking for oncoming traffic can help reduce the risk at busy entrances.
