What Risks Do Pedestrians Face on High-Speed Roadways
Pedestrians on highways or major roadways face extreme danger due to fast-moving traffic and limited visibility, especially during early morning hours.
Drivers may have little time to react when a person is in the roadway, increasing the likelihood of severe or fatal outcomes.
Staying off active roadways and using designated pedestrian areas can help reduce the risk of these tragic incidents.
