What Factors Can Contribute to Vehicle-Into-Building Crashes
Vehicle-into-building crashes can result from driver error, mechanical issues, or unexpected acceleration. Also, this can happen due to parking lot design flaws and environmental factors, such as poor visibility or inadequate barriers.
Technology-assisted driving features, like sensors and cameras, are effective in preventing vehicle-into-building crashes, but proper use and the driver’s attention are required at all times. It is also essential to conduct regular vehicle maintenance checks to ensure that all safety systems and assisted-driving features function properly.
These incidents can result in both structural damage and injuries, even at lower speeds.
