Why Rear-End Crashes Involving Large Trucks Can Be Serious
Rear-end crashes involving large trucks can result in significant damage due to their size and weight. When one truck slows or stops, the following driver may need more distance to react.
Heavy vehicles take longer to come to a complete stop, especially at highway speeds. If a driver does not notice slowing traffic ahead, the risk of a collision increases.
Road conditions, visibility, and driver attention all contribute to these incidents. Keeping a safe following distance and staying alert can help reduce the likelihood of rear-end crashes involving large trucks.
