Pawtucket, RI (April 30, 2026) – Late Tuesday night, April 28, emergency units responded to Oakdale Avenue in Pawtucket after two people were struck by a vehicle during a disturbance.
The incident unfolded after reports came in that a vehicle hit two individuals and then left the scene. Responding units were advised that the vehicle had fled shortly after the impact. The area was secured while information was gathered from witnesses.
A BOLO was issued for the suspect vehicle and its operator. The vehicle was later tracked to an address in North Providence. Authorities in the area made contact efforts, and it was later confirmed that the driver had reached out and was at her residence.

An adult female suffered minor road rash injuries. An adult male sustained more serious injuries, though they were confirmed to be not life-threatening.
