What Factors Often Lead to Two-Vehicle Crashes on City Roads?
Two-vehicle crashes on city streets are often linked to factors such as distracted driving, failure to yield, or misjudging traffic flow at intersections and driveways. Busy roads like East Markland Avenue can see frequent stop-and-go traffic, which increases the risk of collisions.
Drivers may also encounter sudden lane changes, turning vehicles, or unexpected stops, all of which can contribute to accidents if attention lapses even briefly. Weather conditions, visibility, and road design can also play a role.
Staying focused, maintaining safe following distances, and anticipating the actions of other drivers are key steps in reducing the likelihood of these types of crashes.
