ACTON, Los Angeles County, Calif., Sept. 21, 2026 — A pedestrian was injured Sunday night, September 20, in a hit-and-run crash on Soledad Canyon Road near Polsa Rosa Ranch, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP received a report of a vehicle striking a pedestrian in the 5700 block of Soledad Canyon Road shortly before 9:15 p.m. The driver did not stay at the scene, and the case is being handled as a hit-and-run with injuries.
Los Angeles County Fire Department units requested an air ambulance to respond given uncertainty over how badly the pedestrian was hurt. A CHP unit arrived at the scene roughly ten minutes after the initial call.
Fire personnel remained on scene into the night, and one CHP unit stayed in the area while another was advised to continue on to assist elsewhere along the corridor.
