Vero Beach, FL (July 10, 2026) – An adult and a child were hurt in a two-vehicle rollover collision on Thursday morning on State Road 60 west of Vero Beach.
The crash occurred at about 8:45 a.m. on July 9 just west of 58th Avenue. According to sheriff’s officials, three people, two adults and one child, were involved in the collision.
One adult was taken to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce as a trauma alert. The child was flown to a pediatric trauma center. Both were reported to be in stable condition. Information about the second adult was not immediately released.
Eastbound lanes of State Road 60 were closed for about an hour while emergency units assisted those involved and cleared the roadway. The highway reopened by approximately 11 a.m. The cause of the accident remains under investigation as additional details are gathered.
