Albuquerque, NM (January 12, 2026) – A traffic accident resulting in injuries was reported on Sunday afternoon near the intersection of Universe Boulevard Northwest and Paseo del Norte Boulevard Northwest in Albuquerque.
The incident occurred around 4:50 p.m. on January 11. Emergency crews from Engine 22 and Rescue 17 were dispatched to the scene, where they provided on-site medical assistance to those involved. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for further treatment, though the severity of injuries has not been disclosed.
The crash caused temporary traffic delays in the area as crews worked to clear the roadway and assist the injured. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the collision.
