Albuquerque, NM (January 19, 2026) – Emergency crews responded on Sunday afternoon to a traffic accident with reported injuries near the intersection of Quail Road NW and Coors Boulevard NW in Albuquerque.
The incident took place around 4:49 p.m. and was classified as a 29 Bravo 1 traffic event, indicating injuries were present. Rescue 17 and Engine 17 were dispatched to the scene, where they assisted injured individuals and secured the area.
Officials have not yet released the number of people involved or the severity of injuries. Paramedics provided care at the scene, and additional treatment or transport may have been necessary depending on the patient’s conditions.
Traffic near the intersection experienced minor delays as crews worked to manage the aftermath of the collision. The cause of the crash is still under investigation by local authorities.
