Alexandria, VA (September 8, 2026) – A pedestrian died on Monday night, September 7, after being struck by a vehicle on Interstate 395 southbound in Alexandria, according to state troopers. The crash happened just north of Duke Street.
Authorities said the crash occurred around 8:29 p.m. A trooper found the pedestrian on the highway’s left shoulder. That trooper and a second trooper on scene reportedly performed life-saving measures, but the pedestrian died of injuries suffered in the crash.
