Anderson, IN (January 26, 2026) – Emergency crews were dispatched on Saturday morning to a reported injury accident on the northbound side of I-69 near Anderson. The incident occurred on January 24 around 9:23 a.m., near the 226-mile marker of the interstate.
Units from Engine 8, Rescue 1, Medic 4, and Battalion 1 responded to the scene to assist with patient care and traffic control. At least one person was confirmed injured in the crash. Medical teams provided treatment on-site, though the number of vehicles involved and the extent of injuries have not yet been released by authorities.
Northbound traffic experienced delays in the area as crews worked to manage the scene and begin an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
