South Bay, FL (August 3, 2026) – Two adults were killed, and two teenagers were critically injured following a head-on collision on Saturday afternoon, August 1, on US-27 in South Bay. The collision involved a tractor-trailer and a smaller vehicle, according to initial reports.
Emergency units responded to the crash after it was reported around 3:22 p.m. The two adults in the smaller vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. Two teenagers survived the crash and were flown by air ambulance to Saint Mary’s Medical Center with critical injuries. Their relationship to the deceased adults has not been confirmed.
The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities will release additional details as they are confirmed.
