Atlanta, GA (January 10, 2026) – A vehicle crash with reported injuries brought emergency crews to the northbound side of I-85 near Buford Hwy in Atlanta on Friday evening.
The incident occurred shortly before 7:00 p.m. on January 9. According to dispatch audio, a black sedan struck a guardrail on the right shoulder of I-85, just before one of the major exit points. Responding units coordinated to meet on scene, where they began assessing the condition of those involved.
Initial reports confirmed injuries at the scene, prompting immediate medical attention from paramedics. The exact number of individuals hurt and the severity of their injuries have not yet been released, but at least one person was evaluated for transport to a nearby hospital.
