Atlanta, GA (January 14, 2026) – Emergency crews were dispatched Tuesday afternoon to a crash with injuries along Georgia 400 southbound near Atlantic Rd. The incident, reported just after 4:35 p.m., prompted a multi-unit response from Atlanta Fire and Rescue, including Engines 27 and 7, Truck 10, and Truck 29, alongside paramedics from Grady EMS.
Crews arrived at the scene to find a crash that had occurred along a heavily traveled commuter route. Injuries were confirmed, and medics began providing on-site care while additional responders worked to manage the scene and assist with traffic control. The full scope of the injuries and the number of individuals involved has not yet been made public.
Around the same time, a second collision was reported near Metropolitan Ave and Hope St, also involving injuries, leading to further dispatches across the city.
The exact cause of the GA-400 crash remains under investigation by Atlanta Police.
