What Makes Early Morning Intersections Riskier for Drivers in Aurora
Crashes that occur during early morning hours, especially near busy connectors like Airport Blvd, are often tied to low visibility, driver fatigue, or rushed commutes. Even intersections that are normally well-marked can become more dangerous when traffic volume starts to rise during morning hours.
In cases like this, road closures may be necessary not only for cleanup but to allow first responders safe access to victims. The time of day can also impact how quickly help arrives, as morning incidents can coincide with shift changes or increased emergency call volumes.
Drivers are encouraged to reduce speed and use extra caution at intersections during the early morning hours, when the mix of darkness and increasing traffic can create unpredictable hazards.
