Bakersfield, CA (January 9, 2026) – An accident Friday afternoon in southwest Bakersfield left one person injured after they were reportedly run over in a residential yard near Parkview Dr and Campus Park.
The incident was reported around 1:05 p.m. when a caller requested immediate medical assistance, stating that a family member had been struck by a vehicle in the front yard of a home. Emergency crews responded to the scene, which was located along Parkview Dr in the 93311 ZIP code.
First responders arrived to assess the injured individual and provide medical aid. The nature and extent of the injuries have not yet been confirmed, but the incident was classified as a 901T — indicating a traffic collision with injuries. An ambulance was requested to transport the victim for further treatment.
