Baltimore, MD (January 23, 2026) – A truck accident that occurred on Thursday evening near W Madison St left a police officer injured and prompted a major emergency response effort involving multiple agencies.
The crash was reported at approximately 7:34 p.m. on January 22. According to dispatch communications, the incident involved a large truck that required heavy wreckers to be removed from the roadway. Emergency units from Global Medical Response and Baltimore City medics arrived on scene to assist.
One officer sustained injuries as a result of the crash and was transported to the University of Maryland Medical Center for treatment. The exact nature of the injuries has not yet been released, but emergency personnel worked swiftly to ensure the officer received prompt medical care.
