Beaverton, OR (March 31, 2026) – A motorcyclist lost their life on Monday night, March 30, after a serious crash along SW Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway in Beaverton.

The crash happened around 9 p.m. near SW 110th Avenue, close to the Highway 217 on-ramp. Emergency units responded after a motorcycle and a sedan collided in the area. The roadway remained closed for several hours as crews worked at the scene.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the sedan suffered minor injuries following the accident. Authorities have not released the identities of those involved at this time.

What Details Are Commonly Reviewed After a Motorcycle Crash?

After a motorcycle crash, several factors are often examined to piece together what happened. Road conditions, lighting, and visibility at the time of the incident can affect how drivers react. Intersections, highway ramps, and merging lanes may also create situations where vehicles come into close contact.

Vehicle positioning and damage patterns can help show how the collision occurred. For motorcycles, even minor contact can lead to severe outcomes due to limited protection. Speed and distance between vehicles are also considered when reviewing how events unfolded.

Witness statements and any available video footage can add further clarity. These details help form a clearer picture of the sequence of events, especially when early information is limited.

1Seek treatment promptly after being injured in an accident. Your first priority should always be your health. Many providers offer treatment on a lien basis, meaning you can get the care you need now and pay later when your claim is resolved.
