Contra Costa County, CA (July 24, 2026) – A bicyclist was injured on Wednesday afternoon, July 22, when a black Honda struck them on the eastbound I-580 off-ramp to Marina Bay Parkway in Richmond. The off-ramp leads into Richmond’s Marina Bay neighborhood, a waterfront area along the San Francisco Bay shoreline.
The collision was reported around 12:05 p.m., and an ambulance was requested to the scene. No further details about the extent of the bicyclist’s injuries were available.
It was not immediately clear what led to the wreck. The cause remains under investigation, and we hope for a full recovery for the bicyclist who was hurt.
